• Jose Antonio has 10 years of experience with Mesoamerica, focusing mainly on mergers private equity and acquisitions advisory
• From 1998-2002 he was involved in the creation and development of Mesoamerica Telecom, the private equity investment vehicle that partnered with Telefonica for the Central American region, and helped negotiate the exit strategy for the investment vehicle
• From 2003 to date, he has participated in most of the firm’s key M&A transactions, in industries such as beverages, banking, construction materials, agroindustry, and telecom
• In private equity, Jose Antonio recently led the team that structured Mesoamerica Capital Partners’ investment in construction equipment rentals, and is currently focused on opportunities in the Andean region
